The recent "Film Night" organized by the Association of Azerbaijani Youth in Diaspora (AYID) was a remarkable celebration of Turkic cultures in Budapest, Hungary. The event featured the premiere of the first-ever joint short Turkic movie and showcased five additional films by amateur director Nazim Musabayli. These films captured the experiences of young Azerbaijanis living abroad, offering a unique perspective on their journeys.

The evening began with an opening speech by Fargana Bayramli, Chairperson of AYID, who warmly welcomed attendees and highlighted the pivotal role of Azerbaijani youth in promoting Turkic history, culture, and values. She stressed the importance of cultural initiatives like this in fostering stronger ties between Azerbaijan and Hungary.
Nazim Musabayli then provided insights into his work, giving context to the films’ narratives and themes. Attendees included students and young people from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Hungary, and beyond, reflecting the diversity and unity of the Turkic world.
This event marked a significant milestone in strengthening cultural connections and celebrating the shared heritage of the Turkic community while creating a platform for emerging talent.
